Earthquake Relief
In March, two months after the 2010 earthquake hit Haiti, Rev. Jacquelina Leon and two members from her congregation in Louisville, KY traveled with me to meet with the Cazales Church of God congregation in Cazales. This town was 30 minutes from the capital. We distributed two weeks worth of food supplies to 36 families. The people started crying and I asked the translator, "Why are they crying?" He said. "No one has come to our aid since the earthquake, but God did not forget us. He sent you all from the United States."
