Rio de Agua Viva
In the village of Caoba, outside of the City of Romana (about an hour’s drive east of the capital of Santo Domingo) a Haitian Church of God (Iglesia de Dios) congregation meets on a regular basis. Their church was a tin-metal building measuring 8’ x 6’ and they paid $30 a month to rent. A member of the church donated land to build a new building measuring 30’ X 21.’ The congregation of Rios de Agua Vivas from Louisville, Ky committed to build and support Pastor Martin financially for one year. The total cost of the building project was $17,000.
A special thank you is in order to Pastor Jacqueline Leon and her Hispanic congregation from Louisville, KY for their prayers and financial contribution that made it possible for this church to be built. Praise the Lord!
